No profiles to write, no photos to pick, no three weeks of texting before you find out there's nothing there. You sit down, you order, you talk.
Book a seat at the next dinnerDinners fill about ten days ahead ยท Seats released monthly
The whole thing takes about four minutes to arrange and one evening to happen.
Age, the city you're in, what you're looking for, and a few things about how you spend your time. No essay, no photo.
Our team builds each table by hand so the six people have enough in common to talk and enough difference to stay interested.
You get the restaurant and time 48 hours before. Walk in, give your name, someone shows you to the table.
Whether there's something there is obvious almost immediately in person. It is almost never obvious over text.
Big enough that no single conversation has to carry the night. Small enough that nobody gets stranded at the end of the table.
Six people who all booked a seat, paid for it, and turned up. That is a different starting point from a match who may never reply.
Plenty of people leave a table having made a friend rather than a date. Regulars tell us that's most of the appeal.
New seats are released at the start of each month. Pick a city to see the dates currently open.
We won't show you profiles โ nobody is a product here. But you should know what you're walking into.
Roughly half of any table are first-timers. You choose your age band when you book, and we seat within it. Everyone at the table booked the same way you did โ we never fill seats with staff, hosts, or invited guests.
A dinner only works if everyone can relax.
Every dinner is in a booked section of a working restaurant. We never run events in private homes or hired rooms without staff.
We share nothing about you with the table beyond your first name. Contact details are yours to give out, or not.
No one is obliged to stay. Tell the host, or don't โ you can simply go, and we'll follow up privately afterwards.
Anyone reported for behaviour that made a guest uncomfortable is removed from future dinners. We don't run a three-strikes system.
"I'd deleted every app by the time I found this. Turns out my problem was never the matching, it was that I'd never actually met any of them."
"Went expecting it to be excruciating. It was just a nice dinner with strangers, which it turns out I hadn't done since university."
"Nothing romantic came of my first two. The third one did. The second one got me a climbing partner, so I'm counting that as well."
One price per seat. No membership, no subscription, no credits.
Food and drink are paid separately at the restaurant.
No. Six people at a round table naturally splits into two or three conversations and reshuffles a few times over an evening. Nobody is running an activity or making you introduce yourself.
No. The seat fee covers the matching and the booking. You order what you want and settle your own bill with the restaurant, usually splitting the table's shared dishes.
Seats are paid in advance, which keeps no-shows rare. If fewer than four people can make it we cancel the dinner in advance and refund everyone in full โ you're never left sitting alone at a table for six.
Directly, if you both want to. We don't pass on anyone's details, and we don't run an in-app messaging system. What happens after the dinner is entirely between the people who were there.
Not to the same table โ it changes the dynamic for the other four. Book separate seats on the same night and we'll usually seat you at neighbouring tables in the same restaurant.
Reschedule free of charge up to 72 hours before. Inside 72 hours we can't refund the seat, because the table has already been built around you and the restaurant booking is confirmed.
Most guests are open to meeting someone, but plenty come mainly to spend an evening with new people. You tell us which when you book, and we take it into account when building the table.
Eight questions, four minutes, and you're booked in.

Six Suppers is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the data controller. Contact: [email protected].
Some of what you tell us when booking โ for example that you are looking for a relationship, or the gender of the people you would like to be seated with โ may count as special category data under data protection law, because it can indicate sexual orientation.
We ask for it only to build the table, we process it on the basis of your explicit consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us and cancelling any upcoming booking. We never share it with other guests, and we never use it for advertising.
Your first name, and nothing else. We do not publish profiles, we do not circulate a guest list, and we do not pass on your contact details to anyone at the table โ before, during, or after the dinner.
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the booking flow. This site also uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. If you arrived from an advertisement, the Pixel records that visit and any booking, and reports it to Meta so we can measure whether our advertising works. Meta may receive your IP address and details of your activity here, and may match it to a Meta account. Meta acts as an independent controller for that data โ see Meta's own privacy policy. You can opt out via your browser settings or your Meta ad preferences.
We do not send Meta the content of your booking answers.
Our hosting provider, our payment processor, and our transactional email provider โ each under contract, each only as far as needed. Restaurants receive a table booking under a first name and a headcount, nothing more. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Booking and attendance records are kept for 24 months after your last dinner. Payment records are kept for [LOCAL ACCOUNTING REQUIREMENT]. Safety reports are kept for as long as needed to keep other guests safe, which may be longer.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to our processing, or ask for a portable copy. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Six Suppers is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone younger.
Material changes will be emailed to anyone with an upcoming booking at least 14 days beforehand.

Booking a seat forms a contract between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] on these terms.
We arrange a seat at a social dinner and build the table. We are an event organiser, not an introduction agency or matchmaking service. We make no promise that you will meet anyone you like, that any particular kind of person will be at your table, or that any romantic or other outcome will follow. If that is not what you want from an evening, this is not the right service for you.
You must be 21 or over. We may ask for proof of age. You must book under your own name and attend in person โ seats are not transferable.
Guests are expected to behave decently towards each other and towards restaurant staff. We may remove a guest from a dinner, and refuse future bookings, where we consider that behaviour has made others uncomfortable โ including harassment, persistent unwanted contact after a dinner, intoxication, or misrepresenting who you are. A single credible report is enough for us to act. No refund is given where a booking is cancelled for conduct reasons.
We hold dinners in public, staffed venues and we share nothing about you with other guests beyond your first name. Beyond that, what you choose to share, and what you choose to do after a dinner, is your own decision and your own responsibility. We do not vet, background-check, or verify the identity of guests, and you should not assume that we have.
Venues are independent businesses. We are not responsible for the food, service, allergen handling, or your bill. Tell us about dietary requirements at booking and we will pass them on, but the restaurant is responsible for meeting them.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability arising from a booking is limited to the seat fee you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of other guests. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published when you book.
Governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of your own country.

We do not run background checks or verify identity documents. We know who booked and paid, and we know who has been reported before. That is not the same as vetting, and we would rather say so plainly than let you assume otherwise.
During a dinner, call the number in your confirmation, or ask restaurant staff โ they know we are there. Afterwards, email [email protected] and we will come back to you within 24 hours.
If you are in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first. We are an events company, not an emergency service, and we would always rather you called them than us.
